Morocco, I’m coming… some day

So what do I have to do to get someone in Morocco to visit this blog.  I have a serious lusting, a desire, a draw to Morocco.  So visit, and tell me what to visit there, and how to do it on a Social Worker’s salary.

  1. Well, good luck with that. I know nothing, but wanted to say hello! So I hope you didn’t get your hopes up when you saw a comment posted.

  2. I came close to going to Morocco while in Portugal but didn’t have the time. You need a “Let’s Go” travel book or try Rick Steves. Here’s some online info from his site: .

Good choice. Have you been watching “Casablanca” by chance?

  3. I was in Morocco in 2005:

I loved the sandhills in Erg Chebbi (beautiful colours at sunset), and if you like an exotic city Marrakech is quite nice (a tad touristy though). There are a lot of colours in Morocco, nice food, and very cheap freshly squeezed orange juice.

  4. You see, I knew that there had to be someone who corresponds with me who has been. I’ll look into that and thanks for the photos. I always love your photos, Ingrid!

    Hi there,
I was born and raised in Morocco and now live in California. I’ll gladly answer any questions you might have. Morocco is beautiful.

  6. I’ve lived in Morocco for the past year and a half. It’s actually not all that expensive to travel; getting here is half the battle. If you can get a decent price on a flight, you could spend a month with only a couple grand and still manage to enjoy yourself.

Where to visit? Start with Marrakesh.

Anyway, if you want to look at my blog, the link’s up there, and on the blog itself is a link to all of my Morocco photos.
